For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith. Romans 1:17
Today a part of me was ready to apply for a job at WalMart. Financially, things are tight. Paul has complete confidence. I have scarey moments. But underneath my anxiety is God’s peace. In my new creation identity, in Jesus, I am righteous. When I trust in Him, He reveals even more facets of His love and faithfulness to me. When I trust Him more, believe Him for more, His love really does evict the fear. His love wins the battle in my heart.

If we live by faith and have confidence that God is still in control and busy behind the scenes doing what is right, we can live in that abundant life Jesus came to give us now. The just shall live by faith and in His faithfulness.
